Challenge
Lacked a mobile field sales force CRM and Salesforce Automation common applications platform for over 35 distinct and highly siloed applications.
Solution
Design, develop and deploy a SaaS infrastructure of common services including data design, data access / interfaces, mobile data synchronization / reconciliation, user management, authentication, accounts master, rollouts and on-boarding, and several other aspects of the end-to-end application life-cycle.
Results
After an executive listening tour and business requirements discovery, deployed the SaaS platform starting with a pilot in 3 months of the first converted application (promotions management). Three additional applications were converted by the end of the overall 9-month engagement. As a result of the measured project deployment speed improvements, quality and consistency, and significant overall cost savings, within 18 months, the SaaS platform, design system and pattern library became the executive mandated core infrastructure required by all new or updated applications used by the 12,000 person field sales force (including sales management and support).
